James, you are CRAZY! I can skim through all sites in less than 30 minutes, after being away for one full day! Ever since I started using google reader, I never looked back. Being able to check all my sites (154 so far, not a lot, not a few) from ANY computer on earth just by remembering my google account credentials is plain heaven! I only open sites which don't have full RSS, when there's a post I am interested in. Try it and let me know what you think ;)
I know you're both right... it's just... well, I guess it's just an old habit, I was a big magazine fan as a young lad, I love to see how everything is designed and positioned on the page - though I must admit, now that most of my bookmarks are Wordpress blogs design is less important - they all look the same. :(
James, well I agree, many blogs/sites changed design and I only noticed it months later, while opening them to check a post I liked. I guess I can blame them for it, for not being interesting enough for months to let me check the full-blown page and not the RSS!

Oh! N99, that's already out!, well at least there's a chinese N99 finnish- with satellite TV and Tevo, or at least that's what i read in the classefied pages!
just coming into this thread, but james, do what i do. Use Google Reader to filter what you want, putting a star on items you want to read. Then go back to your starred items and open them up in tabs, on the original site.

I still don't do RSS... I still bookmark everything and open them all up in tabs every 2 hours or so - crazy!

You can still visit the sites every few weeks but the time you will save is immense.
