Doh, looks like I'm in the minority. I like Jack Black, but I've only seen him in School of Rock and High Fidelity. I haven't seen Be Kind Rewind yet, and I don't want to see Nacho Libre, or whatever that Mexican wrestling movie was called.
Part of the reason I like Jack Black is because he reminds me of a wacky, fun friend of mine. :)
I actually like Jack Black and loved Nacho Libre. His voice was perfect as Panda in Kung Fu Panda. Will Ferrel's movies are dumb, IMHO, but Elf was outstanding and one of my families favorite movies
Can't recall the name, but I also liked the movie Farrel was in where he was the unsuspecting victim in an authors book. Also had Dustin Hoffman in it...?
Yeah, that was a good one. He plays such an idiot and the same type of character in too many for me to like him though. We were hoping the soccer one would be good since my family loves soccer, but I didn't even want my daughters watching it
today's comedian's are all about shock value, hard to find observational humor these days. heaven forbid the punchline is longer than 5 minutes from the start of the joke.

If you want to hate Jake Black in another way, watch King Kong :) Total douch...(the character that is)
Otherwise, I can take him or leave him. Wouldn't go to or rent a move JUST because he was in it.

I actually enjoy Jack Black. I also can't STAND Will Ferrell and worst of all, Ben freakin Stiller. Ugh, talk about a horrid, horrid actor.
